Technical Information

The Caribbean Light duvet is considered our lightest weight comforter, best for warm climates and/or hot sleepers.

All Yves Delorme down comforters have double stitch construction with piped edge, preventing down from exiting the sides.

Filling: White Goose Down

Fabric: 100% luxury long staple combed cotton, batiste weave, 305 thread count.

Construction: Box Stitch: Each pocket is filled with the same amount of down, ensuring warmth and thickness throughout the entire duvet.

Fill Power: 680

*Fill power is a measure of the loft or "fluffiness" of a down product that is loosely related to the insulating value of the down. Technically speaking fill power is a measurement of the amount of space that one (1) ounce of down will occupy in cubic inches when allowed to reach its maximum loft.

Duvets: available in 3 sizes: Twin 68x92 in (14 oz) / Queen 92x92 in (22 oz) / King 110x92 in (30 oz).

Yves Delorme uses top grade white European goose down to provide loft for insulation and lightness for freedom and comfort. Encased in the finest quality batiste, these comforters combine modern technology and beautiful craftsmanship. Heavier weights (All Season and Continental) have baffle box construction that keeps the down in place and allows for maximum loft; lighter comforters (Caribbean Light and Mediterranean Light) have box stitching, the preferred design for summer and ultra-light products.

Yves Delorme uses hand-selected mature white European goose down from free-range geese. The down is gathered during the molting season when it has reached its full size and potential to hold air. The loose down is not plucked, but rather collected as the geese are molting.
